You may be qualify for a benefit through the VA called Aid and Attendance that can help you pay for the cost of home care services.

Aid and Attendance is a tax-free benefit distributed to eligible honorable discharge veterans or their surviving spouses. Those approved for benefits will receive a monthly check as a reimbursement for the cost of acceptable medical expenses from Veterans Administration. Home care services are an acceptable medical expense.
